JD Kline is an accomplished action sports and high profile photographer specializing in “documentary / event” photography. Since 2010, he has taken over a half million photos all over the world.
He has crisscrossed the US and Europe with Top Fuel drag racing teams, flown with the US Army Golden Knights and has photographed countless rock bands, celebrities and athletes.
His work has garnered recognition, including awards 4 out of 5 years in the prestigious US Army worldwide photo contest and the top spot for mixed media canvas in the 2015 US Army worldwide arts contest. It has been featured in magazines, newsprint and on the web in Europe and across the states.
He has worked with the USO documenting their major events in Washington DC and internationally and was the official photographer of the NCAA football Military Bowl 2011-14.
His first solo photography and art show, JD Kline- “Through A Different Lens”, was held for the month of April 2016 at the SCSU Atwood Memorial Center Gallery and was one of the original artists featured at the 1st- 2018 Art Battle Las Vegas.
Over the years he has worked with legendary motorsports artist Kenny Youngblood, first as his personal photographer and Photo Editor of Fuel Coupe Magazine, and currently representing his artwork worldwide. Along with his own spray and acrylic work, JD and Kenny have now collaborated on over 100 original art pieces.
